Things we are proud to take part in.

  • Each year we participate in Operation Smile, which helps kids born with a cleft lip and palate by providing them with Smile Bag supplies, including crayons, coloring books, toothbrushes, washcloths, combs, etc.
  • We are proud to have donated to an organization called "Roots & Wings." As a club, we attended a session that helped up understand what it is like for young adults that age out of foster care. The organization provides the young adults with many needs to help them become responsible adults.
  • We have also raised funds for a hydraulic lift for our local first aid squad and heard from a company representative about the "The Seeing Eye" organization regarding what they do and how they help the blind.
  • One of our members, Marguerite, advocates for "Court Appointed Special Advocates." (CASA) We donated on their behalf to the State Federation, who then dispersed the funds.

Community service projects we are working on.

Each year, our club organizes a COMMUNITY GARAGE SALE. This is our biggest fundraiser.

Our BLOOD DRIVE is held in January. In collaboration with Vitalent, we collected over 45 pints of blood.

Our dedication to providing assistance and SUPPORT TO OUR SERVICEMEN, WOMEN, AND VETERANS continues throughout the year.

Throughout the year, we support a local shelter helping women and children. Items such as in-kind donations, toiletries, and household items are necessary for their stay.

We would love to meet you!

We are dedicated to service, friendship, and fun. We always welcome new members and invite you to visit a General Meeting. Join us for a "no pressure" meeting and some fun.

Joining the team of dedicated volunteers of the Woman's Club of Montville Township provides an opportunity to experience the rewarding feeling of helping others along with forging relationships with other like-minded women.

Praise and Testimonials

The Women's Club has allowed me to engage in social, service, and self-development activities. I have grown as an individual, as a member of my community, and as a friend in various causes and settings - joining the Montville Township Women's Club has been one of the best decisions I have made in my adult life.

Mary Ann Henry - Member for 11 years

I love being a member of this Woman's Club. It is impressive to see the amount of dedication the other women have without seeking any accolades for themselves. I am grateful to be among people who push me to be a better member of the greater community.

Terry Becker Member for 8 years

The friendships and fun activities are only a part of why I remain involved with the Women's Club. One important aspect for me is the opportunity to do charitable work and meet people from all walks of life within those organizations. I feel that I have accomplished something good for a good cause. That feeling is immeasurable!

Our Story and Our History

Club banner at community garage sale

In 1962, 44 women started a new women's club in Montville bring together interested women of the Community for active promotion of non-partisan, non-sectarian, civic, cultural, education and social activities.

Since that time, the MTWC has engaged in fundraising, cultural, social and community activities which have been focused on supporting the needs of charitable organizations, participating in community social, academic and historical events and working to provide members with a platform for supporting cultural, environmental and social groups and their endeavors.

Becoming a member in 2022 has provided me with the “perfect fit” as a retiree. Participating in community service projects and charitable fundraising is very rewarding, and I am very grateful to have made new friendships with a wonderful group of women.”
