Computer Instructions and Tips

Here are some "how-to" methods to grow your computer skills and improve your efficiency when using your smartphone.
Let me know if there's anything you are struggling with, and I'll try to provide simple instructions to help you master it!

Uploading photos to the Google shared drive

  • Use this link to open the folder where the pictures are saved:  https://bit.ly/4kcdHtk
  • Select the correct year (2026) first to ensure that the pictures you are uploading go to the correct folder.
  • Click the "+ New"  button in the top left corner and select "File upload" to choose photos.
Rename your photos by clicking on the photo you just uploaded, and type the name that identifies the photo. The file is saved automatically when you close it.
  • PLEASE DO NOT upload every picture you have taken at an event. Select the one or two you want to save, then close the webpage. Pictures take up a lot of web space.
  • Alternatively, if you have the files on your computer, you can drag and drop them directly into the browser window.

Step-by-Step Instructions: To upload photos from an iPhone or Android phone to a shared Google Drive folder, use the official Google Drive app.

Select Upload:
